The Role

  • Helping in the progression of conveyancing transactions, including exchanging contracts, dealing with completions, preparing contracts, transfers, deeds, and correspondence
  • Handling completion statements, raising solicitors’ invoices, and drafting contracts etc
  • Taking instructions from and liaising with clients
  • Undertaking online searches and completing Land Registry and SDLT forms
  • Providing secretarial assistance to residential conveyancing lawyers.
  • Producing documents using the firm’s case management software
  • Using your excellent administrative and organisational skills with a good eye for detail
  • Showing effective written and verbal communication skills

Your Skills include 

  • Experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal, (Conveyancing Legal Secretaries will also be considered who are looking for career advancement)
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Good initiative and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel etc.
