Paralegal – Conveyancing

An exciting new role working as a Conveyancing Paralegal has become available working for an established law firm in Worthing.
This full-time role is based in the office, offering the chance to be part of a professional and friendly environment.
As a Paralegal, you will play an important role in managing a busy workload, utilising your ability to work well under pressure and exercise initiative.
Responsibilities
- Helping in the progression of conveyancing transactions, including exchanging contracts, dealing with completions, preparing contracts, transfers, deeds, and correspondence
- Handling completion statements, raising solicitors’ invoices, and drafting contracts etc
- Taking instructions from and liaising with clients
- Undertaking online searches and completing Land Registry and SDLT forms
- Providing secretarial assistance to residential conveyancing lawyers.
- Producing documents using the firm’s case management software
- Using your excellent administrative and organisational skills with a good eye for detail
- Showing effective written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
- Experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal, (Conveyancing Legal Secretaries will also be considered who are looking for career advancement)
- Ability to manage a demanding workload
- Able to work under pressure
- Good initiative and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel etc.
